Question by ichimaru360: sex & children?

First off let me say that i have never done or plan on doing this ever because i find it sick.
now that thats out of the way i just wanted to ask
why is it illegal for a underaged girl/boy to have sex with a adult if they decide to do it of their own freewill?
I mean if they understand the risks that come with sex they should be able to do so if they wanted.

Because we don't have TRUE freedom.

They put restrictions on some things.
